I love my blue butterfly He walks the streets with me at night He speaks about the revolution Blue eyes brightly determined We find music in small corners Tattooed arms and graffitied words We stamp the pavement with umbrellas Gathering men to sing our chorus (Ly di dy di dy dy) I stop under street lights to kiss him But there's so much he needs to tell me The city that has just been broken Opens wounds that must be spoken So we greet the early morning people Who work to keep the streets clean We shout that there is always love A protest song above the traffic Ly di dy di dy dy) The key turns the door is open The cold wind blows in through the curtain Through the shutters hints of the sun Another day just begun But we the overtired soldiers Curl up softly into each other This war is softened with a whisper With gentle song it falls asleep (Ly di dy di dy dy)

I can hear the words falling from my mouth Falling falling for you I can see the words falling from my mouth Falling falling for you If I fall asleep tonight outside your door Will you take me inside? If I call seven times tonight will you answer every time? Painted questions Coloured stones Look what I found A love full grown Sleep inside my caravan Let's watch skies go round again I can hear the words falling from my mouth Falling falling for you I can see the words falling from my mouth Falling falling for you

about

Recorded at Studio des Quatre Chemins, Pantin, Paris 23 January 2015 after a couple of weeks of spontaneously meeting musicians at venues like the gorgeous Coolin and Paris Open Mics, in tiny bars busking afterwards, annoying the barmen who wanted to go home but pleasing tired sozzled customers, and on street corners in the dark hours of dawn while roaming the streets, stopping to make music wherever we were, shouting philosophies and singing to whomever would listen...
